Our father and ALS Though he is no longer with us, our father, Walter Kelley, lives on in our hearts. We honor his life and accomplishments and admire his bravery during his battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). ALS is also often called Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
